Claire Gladstone

Much of my work is concerned with the traces we leave behind, with fragments of memories and how we remember and how our remembering may not be the only truth.

My photographs are the starting point and the processes used will often derive from them, but not be contained by them. Photopolymer and photoetching on copper are my prefered methods. Always hand printed, often altered, as unique prints or in very limited editions.

An ongoing series of artists book works partners the print works.
